We’re holding auditions for new youth and adult members to join Boy Blue on Sunday 18 September 2022.

Open to young people age 11-16 and 16-21
Level: Intermediate / Advanced
Location: Spotlight Centre, 30 Hay Currie Street, Langdon Park, London, E14 6GN 

‍ADULTS Auditions
‍Sunday 18 September 2022
17:30-22:00
Open to adults age 16+
Level: Intermediate / Advanced
Location: Spotlight Centre, 30 Hay Currie Street, Langdon Park, London, E14 6GN  

What to bring to your audition:
Comfortable clothing
Trainers
Kneepads (if you have them)
Notepad & pen (important!)
Water bottle
Snacks  

‍What we’re looking for:
‍We’re looking for Intermediate-Advanced level dancers to join Boy Blue.  
If you are a dancer/artist who is committed to training hard, developing your skills, sharing ideas and showcasing your artwork then we want to hear from you.  
We’re looking for team players, who have something to give and share with Boy Blue, and who are excited and dedicated to learn from and train with Boy Blue.

If you are successful in auditioning, you will be invited to join one of the below training groups:·     
The Bluez (Youth 11-16s – Intermediate Level)
The Blueprint (Youth 11-16s – Advanced Level)
Alpha Blue (Youth 16-21s)
 Adults Company A (Advanced Level)
Adults Company B (Intermediate Level)

As a company member you will have   
4.5hours of high-quality training per week
Training sessions will include Boy Blue Rep, Boy Blue moves & grooves, Notation, Hip Hop Foundations, Creative Practice & Development, Choreography, Freestyle, Skills development, Skills sharing…plus more·     
Performance opportunities & studio showcases 

Cost
Training costs £15 per week 
Uniform
During training sessions, company members wear all black and we ask everyone to wear a Boy Blue t-shirt (these will be available to purchase if you join the company)
