R.E.B.E.L

R.E.B.E.L, a Boy Blue film project is a rallying call for solidarity in action.  Co-funded by ART50 and the Barbican, it aims to respond to challenging questions around cultural identity, what it means to belong to a community and how we deal with our feelings of powerlessness.

Directed by Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy and Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante and featuring the best young hip-hop dancers around.

Featuring music by Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante and choreography by Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy MBE, R.E.B.E.L. is co-funded by the Barbican and Art50, a scheme commissioned by Sky Arts and Produced by Storyvault Films to explore the notion of British identity in the wake of Brexit.
