Boy Blue co-founders Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante and Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy are excited to announce that they are the next Guest Artist directors for National Youth Dance Company 2024/25!
National Youth Dance Company (NYDC) is England’s Flagship youth dance organisation that brings together talented young dancers from across the country to work with leading artists and create world-class performances.
NYDC supports young artists to realise their potential and gain insight into the dance profession. This is for dancers aged 16 – 18 years or up to the age of 24 if d/Deaf or disabled.
Workshops will be hosted for young dancers to join NYDC and work with Boy Blue on a brand-new commission. Dates and details on how to join a workshop are here.
Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy: “I feel very honoured to be given this opportunity to continue to nurture young artists, by providing a space to support and mentor. Enabling me to share my knowledge, theories and applications. This gives us a larger platform to bring our craft to the wider dance community.”
