If you have been waiting to audition for Boy Blue then now is your chance! We have a new format this year with three separate auditions for Youth Company, Adults Training Group and Adults Company.
All information is outlined below. If you are curious about what to expect, come along to our Prep for Audition Workshops on Sunday 10th September.
Are you aged 11-16 and looking for top quality street dance training? We are looking for advanced, intermediate and general level young dancers.
As part of the Boy Blue Youth Company you will have the opportunity to get high level street dance training from leading members of the Boy Blue faculty and perform in lots of exciting projects.
We also provide opportunities for you to create and showcase your own work. With our support and training and your hard work you can become the best artist you can be.

Successful dancers will be invited to join one of our 3 groups:
Aqua Blue (General)
The Bluez (Intermediate)
The Blueprint (Advanced)
Date: SUNDAY 17 SEPTEMBER
Time: 13:00-16:00 (3hr)
Age: 11-16
Level: GENERAL/INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
For dancers who would like to further their training with less commitment and more flexibility. You will have the opportunity to train in:
- A range of choreographic styles
- Pick up, retention and execution of Choreography
- Various styles under the Street Dance umbrella
- Boy Blue Movement Vocabulary and Repertoire
- Creative Exploration
- Freestyle
All sessions are led by our top quality teaching faculty. We offer opportunities to perform and create work for our sell-out end of term shows and should your circumstances change and you want to progress higher into the company as your training advances, we would be happy to support you to do so.

Age: 17+
Level: GENERAL/INTERMEDIATE
Are you confident in your choreographic and freestyle abilities? Can you demonstrate your skills? Do you want an extra push to help you level up and reach your full potential - to be more than just 5,6,7,8?
To be part of this elite company, we are asking for your commitment to regularly attend company rehearsals and classes to grow, develop and elevate as an artist.
Opportunities include:
- High Level Training
- Performance opportunities in external high profile shows
- Opportunities for paid professional work
- Choreographic development
- Opportunity to train as a Boy Blue Teacher for Education work
- Learning of Boy Blue vocabulary and repertoire
If this sounds like you, come down to our open audition on 24th September.Please note attendance & commitment is mandatory every week for Company. If you are considering auditioning for Company, ensure that Sundays 5pm-10pm are possible for you before you audition.

Age: 17+
Level: ADVANCED/ELITE
All auditions take place at Spotlight Centre, Langdon Park, 30 Hay Currie Street, E14 6GN
If you are successful in auditioning, you will be training & rehearsing every Sunday from October 2023 until July 2024 at Spotlight. An outline of the timetable is as follows:
Sundays
Youth rehearsals 12.30-17:30
Adults rehearsals 17:00-22:00

Cost: £20 per week
